Model of Care

We offer services in the six areas below to promote healing, lower your odds of recurrence, and move you toward wellness.

Accessed live-virtually from the convenience of home, the program provides patients with a high-touchpoint team made up of licensed nutritionists, psychologists, and exercise and stress reduction certified practitioners in addition to their own dedicated team leader. Individual assessment is interspersed with group workshops and deep dives that foster cancer literacy and a sense of” tribe”.

Social Wellbeing

Studies show that social connection is a strong protective factor when it comes to staving off recurrence. We help people build-out a robust social connection/support plan to enhance their healing.

Stress Reduction

The nervous system offers a gateway through which prolonged stress hormone activation, heightened inflammation, and reduced immune regulation can be influenced.  In small-group classes, we teach restorative techniques that calm the stress response, protect the body from the effects of stress, and build a consistent practice.

Nutrition

We are what we eat - the cells of our food get broken down and transformed into the cells of our bodies.  Our licensed nutritionists help create an eating regimen that maximizes efficient use of nutrients in the diet to reduce inflammation, promote insulin reduction, and optimize one’s lipid profile.

Outdoor Group Exercise

Exercise & Movement

Exercise offers a direct way to influence your body’s internal chemistry. It slows down the release of stress-related hormones and insulin levels—key factors that impact the way cancer cells grow and spread. We design a customized movement program for every patient that is right for them and provide small-group classes to support progression and consistency.

Positive Mindset

Numerous studies have documented the importance of living with a positive mindset. While a cancer diagnosis is never welcome, it can serve as a powerful catalyst for renewed purpose and intentional living
